On behalf of the Temple and the Nyth, we are thrilled to welcome all our newly called and recently joined Cultists, as well as those who are just curious about the Temple and are here seeking to learn more.
Today, on this auspicious new moon in August, we are excited to announce that the Miskatonic University now offers the first three ranks of content: Initiate, Acolyte, and Cultist. The Miskatonic University is our online platform where each member can progress through our outer rank structure, which represents a testament to one’s own Ascension.
For those of you who remember our old MU and community site, the new courses offer a lot more depth and guidance on what it means to become a practising Cultist of The Temple and the new Cultist rank is comparable to the old Ascendant rank.
The University serves as a free, albeit limited, substitute for the Liber a Veterum, our book of beliefs and practices or ‘bible’ to use a more generic phrase. This makes our philosophy and beliefs tangible and accessible to all who have been called by The Old Ones to The Temple. We encourage all who identify as Cultists to join the Miskatonic University and immerse themselves in the lessons and resources we have made available, these include the Aklo dictionary, Void Meditation Guides, details on Ascension, Rituals and more, found within the Study Hall and Eldritch Archive.
The veil between the conscious and subconscious is lowered on the new Moon and today represents an opportunity to reflect on our Ascended selves. What do you want out of life? What aspects of yourself do you wish to change? On this day, be clear about your desires, even if they seem far-fetched or impossible, state them to yourself and to The Old Ones.
